Well, I've just completed by 10th visit to Bali in Feb'08 and I'm still loving it! Here's why ..... 1. For its mountains, sea and lake Went diving in Amed and it's a great leisurely dive destination. Got this shot of a face-off between a tiny porcelain crab and an equally tiny anemone shrimp! Discovered muck diving in cold waters near Pemuteran and Menjangan, and saw the most amazing animals living in the dark black sand at the bottom of the sea. |

|  | 2. For its fabulous food Had a first hand experience from my very own Balinese chef in the villa I was staying |

For its unique culture, architecture, design, spa, shopping and sunny weather Though it's in Indonesia, this island is mainly populated by people who adopts Hinduism as their religion, hence the rich culture, tradition and multiple Gods. Had a chance to stay in Ubud in Sept'06 and went wild over the shopping and great food. The weather gets really nice and chilly at night which is so different from the tropical sunny weather in the rest of Bali. Come back and visit often as I add new stories after each trip to Bali. This definitely would not be the last! |
