Beautiful coastline and sunsets Lakes Entrance : the name itself conjures up images of scenic beauty, lazy days, sailing on calm waters, serenity, breeze teasing the hair and warm sunny weather.
Arriving at Lakes Entrance, we were greeted by amazing blue waters both from the sea and the lakes. As we took a walk in the evening, a spectacular sunset emerged.
This is the place to soak in some sun, peace and capture beautiful pictures on camera as well as in your mind.
Be ready to drive 309 km or 3 hours and 50 minutes if you are coming from Melbourne. |
| | Morning at the lake With so much water around us, it's only natural to stay near the lake or the sea. We opted for the former and woke up to a wonderful view like this in the morning as we took breakfast from the deck in a bed & breakfast place aptly called Breakfast by the Lake. |
| | Wildlife action Though Lakes Entrance is a quiet waterfront retreat, its wildlife was anything but quiet.
As fishing is a favourite activity here, these clever birds were waiting for a bite by the jetty. Fishing enthusiasts coming back from their excursion would clean up the fish that they have caught and threw whatever they didn't want to these birds. |
