Quite different from Mumbai After visiting Mumbai during my first visit to India many years ago, I was quite apprehensive about coming to New Delhi during my second visit to India.
As it turned out, New Delhi was a very pleasant surprise indeed. Now I know why all the rich and famous folks in India live here. The air seems fresher and cooler due to its location in Northern India, the roads are wide and well-laid out so traffic jams seem less chaotic and more manageable compared to Mumbai.
Of course there are crowds especially in markets and bazaars. After all the shopping mall concept is still very new to India. The people here are equally friendly and helpful, and more beautiful as you can rub shoulders with the stars hanging out in trendy coffee places and boutiques.
Yes, New Delhi is indeed quite different from Mumbai. |

Delhi is one of the better cities of the world. You could have posted photograph of a better looking place. Not the chaotic old Delhi. |
