Travelling in the Eastern Europe provides great oppourturnities to get away from the big crowds and the tourist traps, and so for the time being i am focusing on these countries.
Being born in Poland and therefore being able to speak polish greaty enhances the opportunities to travel in Eastern and Centraleurope where english is not always spoken.

Taking the train/ferry to Berlin my girlfriend I visited an old friend of mine. Thereafter we took the train to Piotrkow and stayed there for a week with my family.
Afterwards we flew to London to visit my cousin and his wife for a week.

This year I went on three trips, going to Germany, Great Britain and Poland.

In july I went to Büsum in Northern Germany, I went by bike from Odense (approx 250 km).
In August I flew to London and went to my cousins wedding.
In september i went to Berlin to see OB play vs. Hertha Berlin in the first round of the UEFA-cup, and then went on to Poland for the baptism of my cousins son.

I rode my bicycle to Büsum, passing through many cosy hamlets and interresting landscapes. There was 255 km from Odense to Büsum, and having made the trip and still being in good spirits I took an additional 52 km from Büsum to Brunsbüttel at the shores of the Elbe river.

Going to London was the highlight of this years journeys, I really liked the city and the general british athmosphere of tradition, and manners finding the average Londoner to be a bit more polite than the average dane ;-)
