The Raddison Phoenix North was a wonderful place to stay. We requested an early check in (1PM) but arrived a little before noon and were allowed to get the room right away! This was a real treat as it was a hot day and the pool was great! The room had a sleep number bed and it was great too.

I don't think I have ever stayed in such a beautiful place. The Villa was at the foot of the Superstition Mountains. The rooms were all white with teal and green and yellow furnishings. The pictures on the walls even reflected the same colors. Everything was so clean and well kept. There is a spa on the premisis and a nice size pool. Also there are 3 restaurants in the lobby of the resort. One restaurant is actually a deck outside of the other restaurant. The food was very good and they have daily specials that are reasonably priced. The most special feature was the hot tub on our private patio! This was luxurious. We will go back!

We stayed at the Canyon Villas which is the adjoining property to the JW Marriott. (time share owner) We were able to use all facilities at the JW at no additional cost. It is a beautiful hotel! Four excellent restaurants on the property. The vallet service is quick and friendly and the concierge service is wonderful. The pools are beautiful and well kept, and the lazy river pool is heavenly. You just grab a raft and float around. Lots of sunny spots and shaded areas to relax.

Unique Qualities: I have not seen another pool like the Lazy River before. Jets get the water flowing so all you do is lay on a raft or in a tube and it pushes you along. AHHHHHHHHH..........

We stayed at this hotel April 5 - 12, 2008. It was a nice place to stay but definately an older property and needs some upgrades. One restaurant - not too good. Golf Course on property and it looked very nice. No shuttle service anywhere so that was an inconvenience because husband had to use the rental car. No body lotion in rooms - this is Arizona - everyone NEEDS body lotion. Also no shower cap - would have come in handy too.
