Remich is a small town with a population a bit over 3000 inhabitants situated amidst vineyards at the banks of river Mosel and it’s a border town with Germany (that’s why you see a lot of petrol stations and line of German cars filling up their tank) |
| | Small to navigate around it has retains some charm and we would have enjoyed a leisure promenade at the tree-lined banks of the river, if Mosel had not flooded due to heavy rain. The surrounding area is dominated by gentle loafs full of vineyards (therefore a lot of wineries) making Remich the capital of this wine producing area. |
