A brasserie is a café that serves meals, generally single dishes, in a more relaxed setting than a restaurant. In Paris it is very common to sit outside in the summer at one of the many "Brasserie", where you can order a small "pate" or "Quiche Loraine"

In many areas of Paris you will find "street artists", but especially in Montmartre! Monmartre is known as an artists' community and you'll have plenty of opportunities to have a painting done of you or buy some artwork. Monmartre is well worth visiting as it has a unique atmosphere compared to the rest of Paris.

Going to a café remains one of the most common habit for people living in Paris. Paris Cafés can still be found on almost every corner. .In Paris, a "café" certainly serves alcoholic beverages. French cafés also often serve simple snacks (sandwiches etc...). They may or may not have a restaurant section.

Crepes are the ubiquitous street food of Paris. The word "crepes" refers to both the final dressed product and the thin pancake itself. Unfortunately, no one knows the Origin of Crepes. There are literally hundreds of Dinner Crepes Recipes and Dessert Crepes. Crepes can be filled with a veritable cornucopia of ingredients, in whatever combination the heart desires.
