We did a 3 hour drive from Sigiriya to Kandy stopping at a wood carving factory and an ayurvedic medicine centre on the way.
On arrival, we transferred to our hotel, Hotel Suisse which is located around 10 minutes from the town centre and has views of the central lake.
We took a tuk-tuk to the Botanical Gardens in the afternoon and then to the traditional dancing show, followed by a visit to the Temple of the Tooth.
Kandy was one of my favourite places that we visited on our tour due to the things we did there, the hotel and the fact that we could walk to the centre with ease past the picturesque lake.
