The Forum, Bangalore.
Whereever I am In India, The Forum is my first choice when it comes to shopping.
Just as in other cities, The Forum mall in Bangalore is wonderful with everything available - and I mean EVERYTHING. I used to go to KFC, shop at Planet Fashion, Levis and Westside, buy groceries from More and top it all up with an ice cream from Baskin robins.
There is one particular shop at Forum, which sells hand made cosmetics, made purely from natural ingredients on the first floor. Check it out - it's awesome!
Visit this mall for a heavenly shopping experience.
What to buy: You think of something and you can find it at Forum. Buy anything you wish and anything you can think of.
What to pay: Depends on what you wanna buy. Expenses may be from USD 100 to USD 1000.

Street hawkers in Gandhi Bazar, Bangalore.
The first time I went to Bangalore, I was told that Gandhi Bazar, in Basavanagudi, is a good place for shopping. In fact, after talking to some local people I came to know that it's very popular with the budget shoppers. However, when I visited Gandhi Bazar, I was completely shocked to see the conjested and dirty appearance of the entire area. Vehicles ply either way on the narrow road, which has been made even narrower by the fruits and vegetable hawkers selling their stuff on the road itself! Nothing impressive!
What to buy: There are shops selling cheap clothes, cosmetics and accessories. Certain local food joints can be seen which are of medium standard. However, nothing special to buy.
What to pay: It's a cheap market. But be careful if you are a foreigner or are coming here for the first time. The store keepers may charge you more. Try to bargain, or even better, try not to buy anything from here.
Address: Gandhi Bazar, Basavanagudi, Bangalore.
Directions: Gandhi Bazar is situated in Basavanagudi near Bull Temple Road and V.V. Puram.

Brigade Road in Bangalore
If you want to shop in Bangalore till you drop, then Brigade road is the perfect place for you. However you must be sure of your pocket and must have an idea about how much you can spend. If you are a foreigner, then you can also exchange your currency notes for the Indian ones at Fifth Avenue or any nearby Foreign exchange office. In many cases that will not be necessary as most of the shops there accept credit cards. You can buy watches, shoes, toys, cosmetics, other than clothes.
The best shop according to me is The Levis Store from which I bought a pair of denims.
What to buy: Denims, Trousers, Jackets, Shoes, Shirts, Ties, Watches, Cosmetics or anything you wish.
What to pay: This entirely depends on your pocket and your budget. Expenses may range between INR 2000 to INR 20,000(USD 40 to USD 500)
Address: All are in Brigade Road.
Directions: You can go to Brigade Road Circle first or enter from M.G.Road.
Other Contact: No specific contacts available.
