What comes to your mind when someone talks to you about the Nizams and their culture? For me, definitely it is Hyderabad.
A nice city with lots of memories, Hyderabad once used to be the capital of the Qutub Dynasty. The foundations of the city was first laid somewhere between 1559 to 1589. Hyderabad definitely has the old world charm like Calcutta and Delhi. But, like the other big cities of India it also offers a modern cosmopolitan environment.
The structure that speaks about the city's forgotten history is the Charminar. It is a giant monument that stands at the heart of the city, with all the events of history pent up in it. It is a wonderful thing to see!
The city has many places to visit, and the Indian cuisines from this particular place, especially the Hyderabadi Biryani, is famous all over the country. A city of the wealthy and the poor, of the elites and the neglected, Hyderabad offers a picture of Indian society at present.
