  Peace is deceptive, for a country endowed with so many riches, sadly are subjected to unnecessary poverty, so elusive to most of it's Citizens ;-(((

  Beautiful photos and insights into life in Luanda! Angola is a place I've always wanted to visit, but the rebellion against the Portugese really got serious when I was next door in Zambia (1972-75).

  your right, sometimes peace reaches us by opening the heart. the old colonial powers didn't do that very often

  So interesting to see something of Luanda. MrL worked there in the early 70s, before the war- really liked it then. Leyle
