Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner ...

... that I love London town

[well, most of the time :) ]

May 2009: New tips have been added to Restaurants (6 tips), Things to do (1 tip), Off the Beaten Path (3 tips) and General (1 tip) sections.

I’ve lived in London almost all my life; perhaps that’s what makes it hard for me to decide just what to say about it! Or perhaps it’s simply that the adventures I’ve had on my journeys elsewhere, the sights I’ve seen and the memories I wish to capture compel me to write much more strongly than the daily experiences of my life here.

There is so much to see and do in London that in a lifetime of living here I still regularly find new things to discover. I love living and working here, but I know I take it for granted.

Nevertheless, I do spend a lot of time socialising in the city, and Chris and I try to take in some of the major exhibitions, enjoy the outdoor spaces, take walks in the city from time to time and expore new sights when we hear of them. Writing these pages for VT has also stimulated me into making more of the opportunities this great city gives me, in order to share them with you.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm also creating a series of travelogues – to share with you all some of my favourite London moments, including meeting some great VTers!
 Me again, coming back to check out your new tips since March 13th. Now I know why the coats at the Bluecoat Schools were blue! I haven't been back to London since my daughter's graduation, but I can see I'll have to return and do some serious sightseeing.
