On the Friday of the 2008 Karlsruhe Euromeet, Ingrid (Trekki) organised a visit to nearby Speyer.
We had a great day out, and I really loved the city, though we only had a few hours there and weren’t able to see as much as I’d have liked.

My little page therefore won’t be able to do Speyer justice – for that you should visit Ingrid’s own page – but I couldn’t let the visit pass without capturing a little of what I saw and liked about this historic and peaceful town.

Sarah, I see you really liked your recent visit to lovely Germany. Excellent little page here. I must admit I have never been to Speyer, but it seems to be indeed a well worth visiting city. I hope you are prepared for tonight's final. |
