I spent two days in Palestine, one in Bethlehem, another in Ramallah. It was a very eciting period as the Presidental elections were being held. A real carnaval atmosphere around Ramallah was exciting to experience. A breif brush with democracy, a concept almost exclusive to the West, brought cheers and joy to the Palestinean people. Unfortunetly, nothing has changed since.
