"One of the most beautiful cities in Germany" Görlitz by Feussner

Very nice, nothing fancy but clean, friendly, in the center of Goerlitz and unbelievably cheap

We were stunned by the beauty of the old city. It is hard to believe that many of these houses were deserted until 1989.

The city is right on the German - Polish border. We couldn't tell which side we liked better. The German part is nicer, the people very friendly. On the Polish side people are also friendly, but it’s a little difficult to communicate. Therefore prices are just very cheap (only 1€ for a glass of beer!).
The big building you see on the picture is a school for restaurateurs. Very interesting!!!

• Pros:Wonderful city, lots of culture and activities, hardly a city with better architecture to bee seen in Europe
• Cons:Difficult to get there with public transport
• In a nutshell:I will always visit again!!!
