The fist - Aprile/May 2000

Our fist "big" trip on the Seychelles, wetted our appetite for long range travels.

As we were not yet divers, but both of us love the sea and sea-creatures, we begun looking for someplace that is similar to the Seychelles, but also somewhat different and we directed our interest toward the Maldives.

We were looking for:
1) small island (= not too many people around)
2) not more that 50 bungalows/rooms (= same as above)
3) affordable price (= we didn't want to spend a fortune)
4) beautiful house reef near the shore (= easy reaching for snorkelling)
5) absolutely no animation (= piece and quite)
6) no over-water bungalows (= healthy reef - they destroy the reef to buid them!)

So, after looking and reading (almost) everything on the web we find out that Asdu has all the requirements met!

Asdu is a small island, oval in shape, situated in the North Male Atoll.

ho già depennato asdu... visto hce non ci si puo andare in idrovolante... penso che una travelgum non basterebbe.. ho degli attacchi di panico "marittimi"... mi sa che sono un po' montagnina nell'anima... ottimi tips, cmq
