My second favourite place in Thailand

Thailand....Railay I just love! Railay has a super, really laid back feel about it as well as having stunning scenary. Accomadation goes from basic to super. Stay at the Rayavadee if you can afford it,a wonderful place to stay.

Beach beside the Rayavadee. Railay is is compact place, so all beaches are an easy walk from each other.

Koh Ngai/Hai...a lovely place:)

Another lovely island off Trang, Thailand. Well worth a visit if you enjoy peace and quiet and beautiful scenary. A super place just to chill out away for it all! A super, basic local eating place there too with lovely food. Easy to find, next to The Fantasy Resort. Beach is more beautiful at high tide! If you want the unspoilt island feel go there unless you want a lot of night life that is! This was the only island I visited near Trang but there are more and I am sure they are well worth going to if you don't want the busy places like Samui, Phuket etc.

Lovely spot to visit if you don't mind dark places. We did this as part of a boat trip from Koh Ngai off Trang. You swim, with a guide, through a dark cave and come out in the middle of this rock formation that has this totally enclosed little beach in the middle of it.. It looks much better than it does in the photo and well worth a visit. The coral and fish off Koh Ngai are stunning too if you like to snorkel

I made it!!

Picture shows the part you swim through, cameras etc put in the plastic boxes to protect them. Don't worry, although it is dark, the guide has a torch and you can swim through the cave with your head above water!!When you come out in to daylight, there is this wonderful little beach surrounded by huge limestone formations.
