Nothing better to start this page than a memory to the "Maori", the first inhabitants of these islands who have learned through time, maintain their dignity and adapt to modern New Zealand, keeping their traditions and customs.
For those who live in the Antipodes, New Zealand has always seemed a chimera, a dream ... But sometimes the realities are beyond our dreams when they come true and this has been for us the case of New Zealand or Nueva Zelandia as we study at school
Country very nice, easy to travel, safe, nice people, volcanoes, mountains, fjords and many "ferns"

To prepare our trip we must highlight:
1) The help we received from the VT members, kiwis and not kiwis
2) Good information from the tourist offices in NZ

The only complaint about New Zealand is that there are too many things to do and see and that time can not stretch (we were nearly a month and we had to leave many things to "next travel")

I just read your review on "fences" and you are right, they are for the wind. We call them "Wind Breaks". As well, if animals are involved they provide shade at times of the day, but mostly they break the high winds. I am not sure they are environmentally friendly as they require frequent trimming involving machinery . Interesting coomments :-))
