Lima tiene una parte antigua que está llena de maravillas de la época de la colonia , casas , balcones y montones de cosas y de detalles que nos hacen recordar esa época
Por el barrio de Miraflores se puede pasear , ver el mar , cenar...,
He puesto el mural de la Isla del Gallo, que está en la catedral pues en ella aparece Pizarro , un personaje impresionante con sus claros y oscuros , pero que no deja de impresionarme así como el desplante que tuvo en la isla , que cuando nada podía ir peor ,trazó una línea sobre la arena de este a oeste e indicando el sur, declaró: "Camaradas y amigos, de este lado se encuentran la muerte, las penas y el hambre". Después indicó el norte, pisándolo: "Del otro, el placer ... De este lado se va a España, permaneciendo pobre. Del otro lado, hacia el Perú para volverse rico y llevar la palabra de Cristo. Ustedes eligen".
Trece eligieron ir al sur y se les llamó los Trece de la Fama
¡Eso era viajar!
Lima has an old part that is full of marvellous memories of the colonial days ,houses, balconies and many other things and details that make us to think in those days.
In the Miraflores area you may walk , watch the sea , have dinner...
I choose the Isla del Gallo mural, that is in the Cathedral, because on it appears Pizarro , an impressive character with his clears and obscures , but that in any case he takes me as the action he did in the island , when every thing could not go worst ,he did a line on the sand from east to west
and showing the South he said :"Colleagues and friends on this side are the death, the sorrow and the hunger" Then he showed the North and he said :"In the other , the pleasure...From this side you go to Spain ,remaining poor. In the other you go to Perú to become reach and to take the God word.You choose"
Thirteen decided to go South and they were called the "Thirteen of the Fame"
That was traveling!!!

Museo de Antropologia looks like a museum I would like to visit. Unfortunately I only visited Lima for a few hours between flights, and then I went to Centro Historico.
Excellent introduction on Lima. Hope to visit Peru one day. SL
