The first thing that we didn´t know it was the difference between "Cuernos y Torres" (Horns and Towers)
The"Horns" are peaks that long time ago were partially covered by glaciers and actually they have the upper part dark and the lower part clearer as it was covered by ice during the Glacier days and it was suffering the erosion
Torres del Paine is an unforgettable place by its landscapes and by the majesty of the mountains
You can do a "hard"plan and make important trekkings or you can do a visit more light with walks of two , three hours depending on your fit , but any option is good
before the travel it was a bit difficult to get an idea of how to plan our stay in TP , but once there in Puerto Natales , we organized the transports , the lodging and the transfer by road up to the Calafate in Argentina
"TP is not a cheap place"

Last week end I did some hiking in the Picos de Europa , not far away from Santander and it was really nice

Hola Mercedes y Juan :-) Marvellous photos you took during your trip to Torres del Paine ! It did change a lot to the negative side, price wise I mean. The boat story is so typical for the hosterias' arrogance! I like this legend with the rustler :-)
