La ciudad de Battambang es la segunda ciudad del pais y alli pasamos unos momentos muy agradables que seguimos recordando con nostalgia y carino
Para nosotros tiene tres focos de atencion :
- El Tonle Sap .
Viajamos desde Siem Reab en una "lancha rapida" ( fast boat ) que hace un viaje inolvidable por el rio y por el lago
- La Mision Catolica
Kike y Nica Figaredo nos acogieron en Battambang y nos aconsejaron , nos acompanaron y nos ensenaron la labor tan impresionante que estan haciendo con el pueblo Camboyano , mujeres , ninos, estudiantes ,invalidos ...
Hemos visto el lado humano de la gente que esta trabajando y entregando su esfuerzo y su vida para ayudar a los mas necesitados
- Los alrededores de Battambang
Alquilamos dos motos con conductor y estuvimos dos dias visitando los alrededores , pueblos pequeños , templos y caminos llenos de vegetacion y de vida ( Las buenas maneras y el conocimiento de nuestro "motero" Thony fue fundamental )

For us it has three main attention focus :

-The Tonle Sap
We traveled from Siem Reab in a fast boat that makes an unforgettable trip by the river and the lake

_The Catholic Mision
Kike and Nica Figaredo took us in Battambang and they advised to us , they went with us and they have shown us the impressive work that they are doing with the Cambodian people , women , children , students , invalids ...
We saw the human side of the people that is working and giving their effort and their lives to help those that are needing more

-Battambang countryside
We rented two motos with driver and we spent two days visiting the surroundings , small villages , temples and paths full of vegetation and life ( The good manners and knowledge of our "moto driver "Thony it was fundamental )

Hola! Nice view of BTB. I'd liked it there, but didn't make it to Tonle Sap yet. As I've seen in documentary, they put ashes of dead people by the trees by the lake. Interesting.

Hola, you didn't go to Siem Reap when you were in Cambodia? I didn't go to Battambang. Wanted to, but ran outta time. Siem Reap is really kewl though.
