"Busy Horana" Horana by Maxus

I’ve been here dozens of times on my way to and from Bulathsinhala, it’s a tourist free zone, good for shopping and has plenty of places to eat but otherwise there ain't a great deal to interest travllers.

Good bus links (AC buses leave for Colombo as soon as they are full) you can get to the Hill Country via Ratnapura from here – the road is improving all the time. There is no Railway Station, if you want to catch a train you can get the bus to Panadura, which is about an hour away on the west coast.
