I will admit that one of the reasons I visited Dornie was that I am a huge fan of the TV program on BBC-America, Hamish Macbeth - which was filmed on Lochalsh and in Plockton.

The other reason was that friends had told me how beautiful this region was. They were so right. It is lovely!
