I enjoyed staying in Amman very much. Although there aren’t a huge number of things in the city itself for a tourist to do, it makes an excellent base to visit other places in the region as it has good transport links. I really liked the city, especially for its friendly people, and was glad that I was flying into and out of the nearby airport, which meant I was in the city three times during my trip to the , rather than just passing through once.
