The headline is really a paradox because in Marmaris the rich yacht owners are a big part of the crowd (but if you think that is why I am here you are wrong...) and so the prices are far from what is normal in Turkey, from Water to Turksish Lira--change money elsewhere before you come. There are also a great deal of package tourists here. In Antalya a concerned sweet Brazilian couple warned me not to go, the guide description sounded as if there was one concrete hotel block next to the other--not true for the city center which has a charming ( though 100% touristic) harbor, old town węth castle and beach area, and the free chairs at the public beach right at the center make it a great place to watch the moon wander above the sea when the sun-addicts have left, chew some nuts and relax! I hope they can sleep well now when they read this...
