Danang - Gateway to World Heritage Centres | At the Top of Marble Mountain |
Located on the western bank of the Han River, Danang is Vietnam's fourth-largest city. It is also the economic powerhouse of central Vietnam. In recent years, the local authority has given Danang a fresh breath of life by building new roads, bridges and buildings.
Danang is also the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Hue, Hoi An and My Son. Travellers from all over the world would land in Danang International Airport and make their way to either Hue or Hoi An.
Despite that, Danang has its attractions too. Highlights such as Marble Mountain, Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Beach should not be missed. |
