Our visit to Ottawa the Capital City of Canada was limited to an overnight stay, however the mid morning arrival and organised travel guides gave us the opportunity to see many of the historic buildings and other tourist attractions.
It was Saturday 2nd June, 2007 and the city was abuz with visitors as the Ice Hockey Final is on tonight, young supporters in team colours everywhere, the stadium was only 300 metres from our hotel and early evening we walked over to the Big screen party outside the stadium, police everywhere and speaking with a policeman he advised we move away as it was going to "get wild".
All in all we had a great time in Ottawa, a fine place to visit and many memories remain. |

Mike....Looks like you made the most of your short time here in Ottawa Mike...Too bad about missing the RCMP's Musical Ride...its fun to see!! You didn't get bumped by the "Spirit" that supposedly haunts Friday's Roast Beef House did you?? |
