We arrived at this hotel 4 days prior to commencing an 9 day tour of Croatia and Slovenia, choosing to stay there as the tour commenced from the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival as the hotel was situated a few kilometers from the town, high on a hill overlooking the ocean and coastal bays with areas of bushland surrounding the premises. Our room was recently renovated , a good bed and a good sized bathroom . Everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel was most likely built in the 1980's, abandoned or run down in the war years of the 1990s' and resurrected early in the 2000's. If you look closely you can see nearby buildings with walls still showing where the bullets hit. In another tip I will show a photo of a resort , 400 metres away, which was hit by a bomb. For the sunlover this is your ideal resort, private beach, fantastic scenery, beautiful water with water slide, water skis etc for the energetic. Other facilities were a beautiful swimming pool and other sports activities. We had a most enjoyable 5 days at this resort. Rates were 520kn per person 18th June to 9th July and 27th August to 17th September. 650kn per person 9th July to 27th August, includes buffet breakfast.
Unique Qualities: The private beach and magnificent views from many sections of the resort and extensive bushland.

We stayed at the hotel the second week of October, a little late in summer for us to go swimming as we come from a very warm country, however there were many people who were still swimming, perhaps they came from colder climates. The beach facilities were first class, the lounges were good, the water very clear and there was a small restaurant where light meals, snacks and refreshments could be purchased. Bar facilities were also available. The large swimming pool was situated next to the hotel and was equiped with all the facilities you would expect . Throughout the complex there were many other recreational facilities including table tennis, tennis courts etc etc. Should we return I would come a month earlier so I could enjoy the beautiful water.
