Vila Gale Village Cascais: Four Star Luxury Apartment Hotel & Resort Vila Gale Village Cascais Review

We had 7 days at this extremely nice resort before joining a coach tour of Portugal, Morocco and Spain during September, 2008. The rooms were well fitted out and very comfortable, the premises must have been built 30 years ago but have been well maintained.

The business operates as an apartment hotel and we secured our week long stay through a time share exchange. There are many facilities including a gym, childrens play area, internet facilities, the large grounds with a beautiful pool area. The large restaurant operates for breakfast and dinner, whilst the patio restaurant and bar operates during the day. Entertainment is provided each evening in the lounge/bar area.

Within the resort you enjoy the peace and quiet, however 10 minutes walk and you are in the town with its outdoor restaurants , shops etc etc.

Unique Qualities: Most people appeared to enjoy the pool sun lounges. For golfers there are several courses nearby and each morning you would see the couriers collecting the golfers.

Villa Italia: 5 Star Resort Accommodation Grande Real Villa Italia Hotel & Spa Review

This Resort Hotel was on the opposite corner to where we stayed. A relatively new resort with views over the Atlantic Ocean it was well maintained and looked every bit a five star resort.

We did not enter the premises, however for those people looking for 5 star accommodation this would be worth investigating.
