Visit The Hinterland

After a few days of surf and sand at Noosa Heads we decided to take a short day trip along the Art & Wine trail through the nearby Blackhall Ranges. Passing through Nambour we were soon motoring through farmland and climining the hill to reach the quaint town of Mapleton where we stopped to browse through the shops and then walk a trail to the Mapleton Falls. There are various walks through this lush rainforest, some suitable for the fittest hiker, others that suit people who only want to walk several hundred metres. Wineries nearby are Flaxton Grove and Kenilworth Bluff Winery.
We continued our trip visiting the beautiful towns of Montville and Maleny before returning to Noosa along the coast road.

    Rainforests in Mapleton Falls National Park look great and very exotic to me!
