It is worth going to the village of Paracuaro, very close to Apatzingan, where you can enjoy comforting baths in its transparent bluish spring or to visit the casks of the colonial “haciendas” (estates) which flourished in the 19th century and that are an example of maintainable development, attended by an Italian settler who took up residence in “tierra caliente” ( hot land) and who with innovative ideas cultivated the arid lands with hydraulic irrigation and leveling of lands that gave as result the blossoming of rice, cotton and the indigo. |
