Arriving in Venice was great. Arrived at the airport and caught a water craft to San Marco Square. Make sure that you confirm the boat that you are taking - no one told us when the boat wa leaving - it just left and we had to wait for the next one!

Florence

How fabulous. We were in Florence 20 years ago - so it was wonderful to return after all that time.

Rome

Rome - Italy

We travelled by train from Venice to Florence and then onto Rome. 20 years ago I had a bowl of minestrone soup at a cafe in Rome. Wandering around, I came across the very same cafe and had another bowl of minestrone soup. It was directly outside the Pantheon. How wonderful!!
