My Husband and I went to South Island New Zealand for 15 days. We rented a car (Starlet 1991, hatchback) and stayed in backpacker hostel all the time. We tour around the island starting from christchurch - Arthur Pass - Punakaiki Rocks - Greymouth - Hokitika - Haast - Franz Josef - Fox Glacier - Wanaka - Queenstown - Glenorchy - Te anau - MIlford Sound - Dunedin and back to christchurch |

Hi, Really enjoyed reading your report about South Island. Had some of the same joys and tribulations :) Next time maybe write a report on the country page, not as a Travelogue, so people can find it. |
