I have been visiting Bangkok, from the USA, for the best part of a decade. This trip is a 6 month stay, preparing a house for a permanent move.
I fell in love with the city on my first trip. With all the traffic, crowds and congestion, I love how Bangkok's people just accept it and move forward. Bangkok is truly "mai pen rai" in action.
I love the food! To me, Bangkok is food. After dining at local Thai eateries, I was never happy with my favorite places back in the States. Even around Los Angeles, with it's huge Thai population, great Thai food is scarce.
In time, I will add more comments and suggestions on Bangkok. My external link to Cheap Eats Bangkok offers some good food suggestions to the uninitiated. |
