  • Look at this pretty Marina Building with American flag on the top.

    From LINDA (lmkluque):
The "Marina" building is actually the, "Boat House," once part of the Hotel Del Coronado. It is now used as restaurant. Years and years ago, the Scripps Institute lived there.
    Thank you Linda!

  • Point Loma is a rocky peninsula north of San Diego downtown which is seen from Coronado Beach.
There is Cabrillo National Monument there - it's a place where the first Europeans come. Add amazing views with possibility of watching whales especially from November till March. Add small lovely lighthouse.

A great page on another lovely California beach town. The bird on your page is a Solitary Sandpiper, I believe.

Returning to your Coronado to enjoy another sunny day at the beach. It's a lovely area.

Sure the bird is neither an albatross nor a sea gull (long beak, tall legs, coat don't fit). Might be either an American Bittern or better a Ruff but I have no book on American birds to be sure. You have extensively visited South Ca, I was more on North!
