I am a little surprised: City of Coronado is NOT a part of San Diego although... it was and still remained in my mind. It's a seperate city with its own mayor and city government.
Coronado is beautiful recreational area located on Coronado Island.

If not Linda (lmkluque) we surely didn't visit the most beautiful parts of Coronado. Thank you Linda - you are lucky to live in beautiful area :-))).
One of the most beautiful areas of Coronado are its beaches. There are a lot of beautiful (and expensive :-) houses in residential areas of Coronado as well.

A great page on another lovely California beach town. The bird on your page is a Solitary Sandpiper, I believe.
Returning to your Coronado to enjoy another sunny day at the beach. It's a lovely area.
Sure the bird is neither an albatross nor a sea gull (long beak, tall legs, coat don't fit). Might be either an American Bittern or better a Ruff but I have no book on American birds to be sure. You have extensively visited South Ca, I was more on North!
