Thank you very, very much :-)))
I was in village of Jelesnia a few times just driving to Sopotnia Wielka or to Slovak Republic. It's located ca 10 km south-east of Zywiec.
I love to stop there just to eat a lunch in Stara Karczma Restaurant (Old Inn built in 1774). Local, Polish food is delicious and cheap there.
.
I love to watch the local handicraft which is almost always sold by natives in front of the restaurant. Do you like it?
- Pros:Local food and architecture of Stara Karczma (Old Inn) Restaurant, local wooden craft
- Cons:Looong waiting time in a restaurant sometimes in lunch time in weekends.
- In a nutshell:Local food, old wooden architecture and handicraft

Lovely little page about a place in Poland I have never heard of. So I am glad to see that there are still many hidden gems to discover for me. Oh and I even would like to try Oscypek one day. :-)
We have the same problems with our home-made cheese since we joined EU. Hope at the end they will be smart enough not to destroy our customs.
Lovely place, must see it someday, and the food sounds really yummy. Surely you didn't manage to eat a whole sheep even if a small one?
Quite an interesting old building Matt! Those wooden 'heads' look like something that Picasso might have created!
Very interesting page,Matt. What are the wooden skulls? Polish joke? Goat cheese, yummm
Haha, in France too, we are fighting against the rules that some countries in the EU want to establish. It is said that France has as many local cheeses as days in a year, most made of raw milk. We will keep them anyway !
Very nice page! Beautiful photos of the restaurant. I bet the Food is really good. :)
What is that white stuff? Mices? WOW!!!!!!!!
I keep on knowing your beautiful country (and keep on learning Polish!!!!) with your pages, Matt. Interesting and entertaining as usual.
Really intersting tips and great pictures, an excellent page.
