I escaped to Riga, Latvia :-): No nightlife ?

I didn't stay at night in Kedainiai. Instead I drove to Riga, Latvia where people were walking around the old town at... 1.00 am.

I doubt whether there was any nightlife for a visitor in Kedainiai. There were no visitors and few locals there even on Saturday's afternoon. And I didn't find any discoes, night clubs, pubs etc. The only restaurant and pub I did find closed at 9.00 pm.
And I would be scared walking at night around some, neglected housing districts surrounding the old town of Kedainiai.
