How could I fail to pay a visit to the capital city of Andorra? I have been to the capital cities in each of 44 countries I have already visited. The only exception is still Stockholm in Sweden.
Andorra la Vella, frankly speaking, is not the best place on our planet and definetely not the best in Andorra but strolling around that town I have found some small interesting things. Well, for skiing vacations in Andorra I'd definetely choose other towns and villages, smaller ones and located higher in the impressive Pyrenees.
- Pros:Beautiful high mountains around, some stone architecture!
- Cons:Traffic and air pollution!
- In a nutshell:The highest capital city in Europe! (1409m; 4623 ft)

Nice page :) Actually I was thinking to visit it as daytrip from Girona or Barcelona, but later thought it could be too far to make daytrip;)

Great tips - it might not be the best place in Andorra but it's worth a quick visit.... although mine might have been a bit too quick, only a day!

What some people will do to get away from smoke/pollution. The cliffhouses are a great idea and the views from there must be fabntastic. Very nice read, Matt.
Urszula as a blond startled me. Nat's comment is fun. The hanging houses are agreat..similar to ones in Ronda, Spain or in Greece. Interesting little town. Are you trying to see all the capitals? That would be cool.
