Motel Plitvice: NOT recommended

This is really not my recommendation - it's too expensive (for this standart) especially for budget travellers - all I can say 70 Euros per night it was robbery, after all it's a motel.

But if you are very tired driving at midnight on the highway from Zagreb towards Plitvice Lake and Split - what to do? just for one night.
Driving from Graz in Austria it was the first accommodation by the road (opened in May) I found from Austrian-Slovenian! border)!

I paid 70 Euro (including breakfast)- for 3 persons in one room. Visa and Visa Electron cards accepted.

Unique Qualities: Beutiful yard - sunny and full of flowers; delicious Lasko beer in a bar.
Rooms are simple with small windows (dark), breakfast (swedish table) hmmmm... so,so; good cofee? - forget it.

Comparison: more expensive than average

Directions: On the right side of the road Zagreb-Plitvicke Jezera-Split, few kilometers from Zagreb. Well signed on the road - it's impossible not to find it!

Unique Qualities: Swimming pool, fitness club, hotel beach, beautiful garden with palm trees, 2 bars, all rooms with air conditioning,balcony,TV+phone.

Comparison: about average
