Tip for people suffering from VTA (Virtual Travel Addiction, new desease - no cure till now but very strong support group):
There are too many things to do and see to "waste" your time for VT in Paris hehe. Good place to take a break and not to logg on VT although there are many internet cafes there.

Be prepared to pay for a toilet: there are numerous very small (a little gym inside - very healthy hehe) street toilets - there is no phone inside so better do not shut doors if you are afraid to be trapped inside untill you have cell phone by you hehe.

Parisienes have bad opinion not to speak any foreign languages and not to be very sympathetic for tourists.
Hmm... I can't agree at all, I met many very sympathetic people on a street who were very usuful giving me info although their knowledge of English was as poor as mine, but enough to communicate.

So DO NOT BELIEVE that they can't speak English and that they are unfriendly. Who did say it?

I heard a bad opinion about the health care system (I mean basic health services for foreign tourists) in France and Paris. Hmm... is it really true?

Even if it's true and sth bad happen to you there, don't worry, look at my picture :-))).
