Crete is a beautifull island, but its very touristy.... not something I enjoy, but anyway, If you only want to party and lay in the sun the rest of the day, then this is a good place to be. I stayed at Malia, where most of the tourists are English (something I dont mind) but if you stay in Chersonisos, then you will be surrounded by dutch people, which is something I dont really enjoy when I am in a foreign country.... its even that bad that when you walk past restaurants that the people will speak to you in dutch and have dutch menu's available..... :-( But anyway, I enjoyed myself, lovely island, but one week is more then enough for me on Crete. |
