Helmcken Falls - Wells Gray Provincial Park

A Canadian 'must see'.

Wells Gray park is a lesser known preserve near Clearwater BC. It is an absolutely beautiful area with far fewer tourists than the national parks of the Rockies and makes a great stopping off point if you are doing a driving holiday from Vancouver to Calgary or visa versa.
It is possible to spend quite a few days in the park, but a day will allow you to see some of the key waterfalls.
A free map/guide is available which gives you all the information you need to find your way around. This can be picked up at any tourist centre.

Happy Birthday...this was on our camping list this summer but we never made it....next year. I am glad you enjoyed my area of the world. Someday I will enjoy yours.
