"Shanghai" Shanghai by Nadia7

I've been to China several times and this one was taken last year before the Chinese New Year. You see all the crap which is supposed to be the New Year's decoration?

The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is located in Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Shanghai. The tower, surrounded by the Yangpu Bridge in the northeast and the Nanpu Bridge in the southwest, creates a picture of 'twin dragons playing with pearls'. The entire scene is a photographic jewel that excites the imagination. You can get to Pudong by a boat, need to get a ticket first. It is possible to go inside the Tower. The second tallest building in the pic is Jin Mao Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the world. There is a super fast lift which takes you to the top of the building in a few seconds.

No wonder why the energy costs increase so much...

Nanjing Street, five kilometres long, is China's most famous shopping street, with an average of one million shoppers and visitors every day! That is a lot of people! :-)

• Pros:Cheap travelling, a good diet place if you are keen on European cuisine, I am.
• Cons:China really stinks all over I guess, based on my experience at least in the east.
• In a nutshell:The craziest car drivers live there, had an accident there but fortunatelly survived it all.
