Calgary is a great place for people who enjoy the outdoors. There is an awsome paved trail system throughout the city for biking or walking. The Bow river that runs through Calgary has a rock bottom and it's proximity to it's mountain source maintains it's clean appearance. Banff national park is only an hour away with the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. The Bow river is world renouned among fly fisherman and is also a great place to float through the city on a raft or inner tube in the summer. Calgary's population is nearing 1 million. |
