Angkut
Angkut is another type of transportation in Bandung. It's very famous among the locals. It's cheap n there're plenty of them. However, taking Angkut is a bit uncomfortable...the driver usually will try to fit in as many passengers as possible.
I was a bit skeptical about angkut previously...but after a few times being cheated by a few cut throat cab drivers there...I thought why not give it a try. Surprisingly, it's not that bad at all...and in fact I save a lot compared to keep on taking cabs to move around. However, I haven't had the chance exploring Bandung on Angkut yet...the far I got on this transport was along Jl. Riau and Jl. Dago only. A single trip cost me about Rp3000, at times Rp5000 for two persons.

Skybus
For those going to Bandung via Air Asia flights, you have to get to the LCCT airport. It can be a bit troublesome to get to LCCT, there's no train from the Kuala Lumpur city centre. However, you can take the Skybus from KL Sentral which goes directly to LCCT airport non-stop. Bus fare is RM9 per person per way. Tickets can be purchased online (for those booking Air Asia flights) or just got the bus terminal at KL Sentral and purchase the tickets on the bus. Journey to LCCT is only about 1 hour via the Maju Expressway (MEX).

Trishaws in Bandung
Another mode of transportation in Bandung is trishaws. Well, the thing that I don't like about it is the fact that the driver has to really struggle to cycle when heavy ppl onboard n especially when going up a hill. The other thing is they like to charge extra...even for a short ride.
Well, one thing that I like about taking trishaws is that I get to see things closer rather than taking cabs that go so fast n miss so many interesting stuff along the way.

Blue Bird Taxi
There's no problem traveling around Bandung. There're plenty of taxis to choose from. However, the one n only cab that uses meter is the Blue Bird taxi. Unfortunately, Blue Bird is kinda new in Bandung...there're only about 200 of them...so sometimes it's a bit difficult to wait for one...another option is to ask the hotel to call them for u. Well, if u don't mind spending more...it's ok to just take any other cabs...they always charge more n they don't use meter.
