Olympia

Olympia is the place where the Olympic Games all started.
The remains are still there after hundreds of years, but it's not that impressive you would expect. For example the footballstadium; in fact it's no more than a vague sand hole with some decrepit conrete grandstand.
There's also a museum near the remains, but this is more based on excavations than on the Games.
