In 1998 I had the privelage to visit the Bufa on my very first trip into Mexico. I was there in a starry night .The view from the Bufa is breath taking and spectacular and the shape of Zacatecas from here looks like a huge lit eager . What a good place to taste a Corona while you are gazing at the view and letting yourself enjoy this beautiful city.
There are also a museum about Mexican revolution and some equestrian statues of Pancho Villa with and other two revolutionaries .

The impressive cathedral, which stands on the Plaza Hidalgo, is for many
people the most perfect example of the Mexican Churrigueresque style.
The building was begun in 1612 on the site of an earlier church, but the
form it has today is primarily the result of additions dating from the
period 1730-60.
The facade, with its exceptionally elaborate decorative work which is
typical of the richness of form of Spanish-Mexican Baroque, has
illustrations of Christ with the twelve apostles, four Church Fathers
around the chancel window, and in the uppermost section God the Father
surrounded by eight angels making music.
Its beauty is far greater at night thanks to a special lighting.
