France - Ahh Paris !! Paris is a mecca for foodies. Almost every corner you turn has a bistro or restaurant or street vendor worth trying. Not to mention the many wonderful Michelin rated restaurants and cheap ethnic food stall. Farmers market are a plus too. If this is your first time, do the tourist things....visit the Eiffel tower, the Lourve, the Notradam, a farmers market etc. |
| Statue of Hanuman at the Grand Palace Temple |
Thailand-Light on your wallet, heavy on your heart Thailand is a beautiful place with people with big hearts. Thailand is an experience for all your senses. It is a great destination regardless of your budget. Enjoy the street food stalls and don't forget to bargain for a good deal. Visit the increadibly decorated temples |
NYC NYC is the grand daddy of cities. It has more skyscrapers than other city in the world. A great way to see Manhattan is from a helicopter (even better if it is a private helicopter) |
Hungary - Buda & Pest The city of Budapest is rich in history and culture which is not familiar to the average Westerner.
Budapest has an interesting combination of architecture from 1800s, Communist gray "blocks" and new western style architecture.
The cities of Buda and Pest are seperated by the Danube, on which I highly recommend a sight-seeing river cruise at night. |
