WAIKIKI BEACH IS A GREAT LOCATION FOR A BEACH ON OAHU...THE SOUTH SHORE DOESN'T GET AS MUCH RAIN AND BAD WEATHER AS THE NORTH SHORE ...SO MORE SUNSHINE IN WAIKIKI..!! VERY GOOD... It is always wonderful to capture a beautiful thought and landscape in pictures. And it is a joy overall to get to go to those places where those thoughts came about. Whether they were dreams before or not. Here are some of those realities !!!!! Here is a picture of the Moon on September 8th 2005.[ HONOLULU: THINGS TO DO...PAGE] It Looks like a DOVE !!!!!!!!!!! THE WORD ..HONOLULU MEANS " SHELTERED HARBOR". . KING KAMEHAMEHA I ,WHO CONQUERED OAHU IN A DECISIVE BATTLE...MOVED HIS COURT FROM THE BIG ISLAND OF HAWAII TO WAIKIKI IN 1804 ..HE RELOCATED TO WHAT WE KNOW IS DOWNTOWN HONOLULU FIVE YEARS LATER. THE MONARCHS ALSO HAD HOMES IN KAILUA ON THE BIG ISLAND OR [HAWAII] AND ALSO LAHAINA ON MAUI. |
| | Some More BUS STOP AT THE TRAIN DEPOT IN BARCELONA................WAITING PATIENTLY TO GET TO THE AIRPORT TO GO TO ZURICH.......... Basically, Barcelona's Train Station is one large rectangle. On the main floor are shops with ticket windows running along the center of the building. Below the main floor are the train bays. Once you purchase your ticket and determine which train platform number (VIA) your train leaves from, you take the appropriate escalator down to your train. Buses are located outside the Train Station. |
More to Come !!! Fun seeing the world!!!! Situated among Bollène and Orange, Mondragon's village is installed(settled) along the hill of Stonewares and on the other side of the river which carries(wears) the same name as the village, next to the highway.
By walking Mondragon, you will discover that there are even today vestiges of this medieval ramparts, inside the village. In the street of the mill, you will see a door carved and struck with the weapons of the city, evoking so the rough and warlike aspect of its medieval fortress. Seriously damaged by religious wars, the castle installed(settled) on its cliff is nevertheless always lived. The strategic position allowed him(her) to control the Rhone and the road of the valley. | | | The Castle is in the background |

| The Club the Beatles played at !!!!!! |
| | Beatle Land Yea, Yea ,Yea A PART OF HISTORY THAT HAD REVOLUTIONIZED WHAT ROCK/POP MUSIC WOULD BE...........THE CAVERN OPENED IT'S DOORS ON JANUARY 16 TH...1957..IT WAS ORIGINALLY A JAZZ CLUB AND SKIFFLE BANDS CAME THROUGH FOLLOWED BY THE BEAT BANDS ..WHICH WERE LATER CALLED THE MERSEYBEAT...BANDS ... .quote .. I didn’t know the Beatles, they were always a bit of a joke on the Liverpool scene. They weren’t awfully good at that time to be perfectly honest. Then Allan Williams took them over to Hamburg and they came back with their leather coats." |
Jerusalem !!!!!!! One of the most amazing cities in the world !!!!! The Western Wall (Hebrew: הכותל המערבי, HaKotel HaMa'aravi), or simply The Kotel, is a retaining wall from the time of the Jewish Second Temple. It is sometimes referred to as the Wailing Wall, or as the al-Buraq Wall, in a mix of English and Arabic. The Temple was the most sacred building in Judaism. Herod the Great built vast retaining walls around Mount Moriah, expanding the small, quasi-natural plateau on which the First and Second Temples stood into the wide open spaces of the Temple Mount seen today.
| | Amsterdam !!!!!! Got to see Amsterdam !!!!!Amsterdam is an unusual city in that it has all the advantages of a big city – culture, history, food, entertainment, good transport – with relatively few of the disadvantages: it is physically small, beautiful, relatively quiet, and largely thanks to the canals, has relatively little traffic. |
One of many awesome sights in Hawaii !! HERE IS AN AWESOME SUNSET FROM DOWNTOWN HONOLULU Rising from the depths of the sea, a young chain of islands came to grace the middle of the Pacific like a flower lei floating on the tide. Geographically isolated and settled by Polynesian voyagers from the South Pacific, the Hawaiian Islands became the hosting ground for a unique natural environment and human culture.
| | Sacred Heart in Paris Also known as: Sacred Heart Basilica Built: 1875-1914 Designed by: Abadie Cost: Fr40,000,000.00 Type: Holy place Location: Parvis du Sacré Coeur A wonderful place to picnic and relax and enjoy watching the beautiful surroundings!!! A must see if one goes to Paris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The crowning achievement in one of Paris' most interesting and on-again-off-again fashionable districts, the Sacred Heart Basilica is loved by the people on Montmarte perhaps more than the Cathedral of Notre Dame . It was conceived as a symbol of thanksgiving at the end of the Franco-Prussian War. People from all over the country donated what they could to have it built, but it wasn't enough, and the government took over funding a few years into the project. Though it was completed in 1914, it wasn't until after the first World War in 1919 that the church was actually consecrated. Its architect died when the building was nothing more than a foundation. |
